The Long Island Ducks are an independant Baseball Team located at CitiBank Park, in Central Islip. It is a great location, making it very easy to get to no matter where on Long Island you’re coming from. The Stadium holds appoximatley 6000 people, so parking and traffic are not a problem.
CitiBank Park is not like any Major League Ballpark. But that's good news because every seat in the house has a great view of the field.
Tickets and concession stands are also reasonably priced. Average tickets sales are $10.00 per ticket.
Many players in the Atlantic League are former major league players and minor league players still trying to break into the big league. At every game you'll see great defense, pitching and hitting. Every game has something new. T-shirts are tossed into the crowd, collectibles are given away and Duck hats are given away for just sitting in a certain section.
Former Met Great Gary Carter Heads the team on the field with former world seires champion New York Met, Buddy Harrleson.
In between innings are great for the kids and fans as fans try to kick field goals and have dance contests. Their team mascot Quacker Jack is seen leading the fans to take me out to the ball game.
